ENTRE DEUX MONDES
Elaborated in 2025, the series Entre Deux Mondes (Between Two Worlds) reveals transitional spaces where the real slips into the invisible. Through the play of materials, light, and diffuse forms, it conveys an inner journey that is both spiritual and sensory. Each painting becomes a passage, a threshold between two realities, a suspended place where the tangible blends with the intangible and where emotion takes shape in the unspeakable.
METAMORPHOSES DU SILENCE
Conceived in 2025, the series Métamorphoses du Silence (Metamorphoses of Silence) highlights natural transformation and the quiet passage of time. Built through successive layers of pigments, mixed media, and spontaneous gestures, it gives rise to abstract, organic, and dense landscapes. Earthy ochres, deep greens, and fluid blues oscillate between opacity and transparency. Textures, drips, and material efflorescences reveal a creative process open to chance. Each painting becomes the trace of a slow, continuous movement, inviting silent contemplation and immersion in inner landscapes.
COSMOPOLITAN ABYSSES
Produced between 2023 and 2024, the series Abysses Cosmopolites (Cosmopolitan Abysses) offers a journey where the infinity of the cosmos meets the mysteries of the oceans. Through a palette of deep blues, bright greens, and vibrant colors, Monika Demurtas creates a fascinating dialogue between the macrocosm and the microcosm. Her works, populated with enigmatic shapes and unreal creatures, open a door to a parallel universe. This project constitutes an artistic and spiritual quest, inviting the viewer to discover the invisible and be guided by contemplation and discovery.
